The Foundation - Established to Help the PA Profession
Our Mission
The mission of the WAPA Foundation is to serve the needs of the health care consumer in Wisconsin, support quality physician assistant education and meet the professional needs of practicing physician assistants.
C
reated in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) corporation, the Foundation was established to provide a charitable organization to pursue educational and research programs for students and practicing PAs. Directed by a Board of Trustees, each Board member has extensive experience in the PA profession and is dedicated to the importance of education and research in health fields. The promotion of service and leadership were added by the trustees as fundamental components of the Foundation's purpose in 2006.
Annual Golf Outing
Created in 1993, this fall fundraiser has been a popular event for members and non-members.
