WAPA Bill Passes State Senate
2/21/2012
SB421, The Physician Assistant Healthcare Access Act, passed the State Senate on a unanimous voice vote on Tuesday.
The bill must now be approved by the Assembly. WAPA is hoping the Assembly will vote on the bill by early March. The combination of strong bi-partisan support in the legislature and broad support from other statewide organizations has been critical to the bill's success to date. Members are encouraged to contact their state representatives and ask them to support the bill when it comes up for a vote in the Assembly. Members can find their representatives on their

, or on the
Wisconsin Legislature's website
. Simply ask your State Representative to "support the PA Health Care Access Act."
