The UW Madison PA students are hard at work getting through the final weeks of the semester. The didactic year students are finishing the semester out with ENT and dermatology, while the clinical year students are in the midst of their third rotation!
First year students continue to volunteer at home Badger football games to raise funds for the medical mission trip in May 2017.
In promotion of interdisciplinary work, PA students volunteer alongside nursing, pharmacy, physical and occupational therapy, and medical students at Medic, Madison-based medical clinics dedicated to serving uninsured and underinsured patients.
Further promoting interdisciplinary teamwork, the PA students participated in a healthcare ‘procedures fair’ involving students practicing arthroscopy procedures, injection administration, point-of-care ultrasound testing, and suturing alongside other healthcare science students.
