Carroll University Student Update, December 2016

By Laura Schwab
Since the Thanksgiving break, Carroll first-year PA students have had a few short weeks to get ready for finals. This has entailed meeting with study groups, sharing tables and acronyms, as well as making each other laugh when we are too tired for anything else! This collaborative approach to learning that our instructors have encouraged and we have embraced, will undoubtedly serve us well when we join our future health care teams.
Meanwhile, the second-year students can celebrate making it half-way through their clinical rotations. They have been our mentors and cheerleaders and we are incredibly grateful to have such a supportive cohort ahead of us.
We also want to express our deep gratitude to our instructors who continue to inspire, encourage and challenge us every week. Happy Holidays!
