Join your PA colleagues for the WAPA Listen and Learn   presentation entitled CamPAign:  End Opioid Addiction on Wednesday,  September 30, 2020 at 7pm.  This free virtual CME* event is a panel discussion focusing on Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Substance Use Disorder (SUD).  Panelists include Amy Parins, PA-C, Britt Gerovac PA-C, Michael Repplinger, MD, PhD, FACEP, and Sherri Rettew. 

 

Discussion will include:

  • rewards and challenges of integrating MAT into a practice
  • motivation for bringing MAT to a practice
  • common preconceived notions about addiction medicine
  • resources for PAs who wish to pursue MAT training

*This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to apply for 1.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits from the AAPA Review Panel.
