About the Spring CME Conference
Based on developments in the past week, including increased travel bans affecting speakers and participants, the WAPA Board of Directors has chosen to move
Spring Conference online.
The event will take place on Zoom, a live meeting platform. Sessions will focus on Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Seizure Emergencies and Rescue Therapies, Confronting Conflict in the Workplace, Suicide and Self-Injurious Behavior and more.
In addition to the virtual conference, WAPA has confirmed at least another 17 lectures to record and release to attendees on May 1 for on-demand participation. Registrants will have 60 days to participate in the lectures and can earn a total of at least 30 CME credits - 8 more than the live event offered!
On March 31, we will be sending all registered attendees:
- A full schedule of sessions for the live conference on April 2nd (13
- A link to the zoom meeting. Attendees must join from a computer or tablet.
- CME accreditation info
- A survey for each session
- A link to the online CME courses (17 CME Credits
- This link will be live May 1, 2020.
CME for the live event will be submitted to the NCCPA immediately following the event. CME for the online lectures will be submitted on July 1, 2020 - 60 days after release of the lectures on May 1.
This activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 13 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

minus a $35 administrative charge, will be given if a written cancellation is received by March 15, 2020. Notice of cancellation must be faxed to the WAPA Office at (414) 253-8188 or emailed to email@example.com.
No-shows will not receive a refund.
Exceptions to the WAPA cancellation policy will be made for attendees who are not able to attend the Spring CME Conference due to a documented medical reason accompanied by a doctor’s note, country travel ban, government-restricted travel,
or airline restrictions. All cancellation requests for any of these reasons require documentation and approval of the WAPA Executive Director.
Individuals who receive an approved exemption to the WAPA cancellation policy will receive a full refund of the paid registration rate minus a $35 administrative fee.
